How do you describe what you do for work?

I empower my clients to step into their confident self to reduce anxiety and discover a work life balance.

What's your favourite thing about working freelance?

Managing my own time and the ability to change the direction of the work I do as and when I choose.

Where do you usually work from?

As we are fully online, I have the luxury of working from anywhere. My location often varies to keep my creative mind stimulated.

What does a normal working day look like for you?

Busy but in tune. Presently I start my day with meditation, speaking to loved ones, a good breakfast, a shower and reading an inspirational book. That will lead into social media and studying to develop my skills, because mornings are my most effective time. After an hour of study, I work through administrative tasks, followed by teaching lunchtime classes online. After lunch, I complete sales and coaching calls and then study business development strategies, followed by learning new routines for classes and then teaching classes. My days are full at the moment, but I always allow myself breaks and space to adapt when my body requires it.

What one tip would you give other freelancers about running a freelance business?

Numbers matter, but so does taking care of yourself. Detach emotions from your numbers and allow them to guide you but not define you. Hold on to your boundaries and ensure you have the space to switch off from work completely. It takes practice, but over time allowing that space will help parts of you to grow through creativity.
